[ He's heard about this guy on the grapevine. It feels like it's been so long since he's had anything like a decent meal, and something actually cooked sounds divine. While Josuke isn't shameless enough to mooch off of people who might actually be nice (he cares a lot less if those people are assholes), perhaps he'll have something to offer in exchange for the food. ]
Hey. Is this Mr. Ignis? [ making an effort to sound polite ]
I heard you were the go-to guy for some decent food. Not meaning to sound like a mooch here [ but totally sounding like one. ] but I haven't had a good meal all week. That's ... kinda why I'm ringing you up.
Professional curiosity. I would've prepared you something either way, but you could say I have something of a soft spot in particular for ensuring that the teenagers here don't go without a proper meal.
With my Stand, I'm able to fix or heal practically anything. There are certain limitations, of course, but most things are a go. [ He can't fix himself, he can't bring back the dead, and - ]
Before you ask, I can't restore the colour to this place though. Believe me, I've tried.
But if you've got a wound that needs healing, or something broken, I'm your guy.
Interesting. Healing without the necessity of a potion...what an intriguing and admirable skill.
I'm sure you'll find plenty of use around here for your talents, though, even if they can't restore the color. Most of the buildings are decrepit, to say the least, and the stores are filled with broken shelves and items.
Yeah, I've been going around and helping out where I can. It's not like it takes a lot outta me to fix up, say, a wall or shelf. That's why I'd be more than happy to put something back together if you need it.
Well. As there are more than a few varieties of fish here that have proven largely edible, I was thinking I'd try a fish chowder. Corn, potatoes, onions, and so on.
Courtesy of the garden started by myself and another resident here, Dave Strider.
[He always wants to call him "David", it's so hard to refrain even when HE KNOWS BETTER.]
I had the good fortune to be carrying some assorted vegetables when we arrived here, so we ended up planting them in the hopes of cultivating more, and the experiment was quite the success.
Hold on, you're responsible for that too? That was a really good idea by the both of you! If I knew I was gonna be stuck here, I would've hit up the supermarket to stock up first.
Alright, I'm heading out now. How do I find you later?
We are a veritable fount of good ideas. Really, it's a lucky thing I had what I did with me; it made all the difference, early on.
I reside in Bluo, the canal district. When you come through, look for the house with the two exceptionally large bipedal feathered creatures grazing in front of it; that'll be where I am.
[ And Ignis will hear a small scene happening outside his house, as Josuke tries to stop the chocobos (????) from getting too close to his hair. He's afraid of being pecked here! ]
Hey! Watch the hair -- What even are you guys, overgrown chickens?
[ In his hand is a violin, and it looks to be in good shape. ]
Something like that. Coincidentally, we also have chickens on the premises, or so I'm told.
[This is truly the most bizarre house but hey, it's not like Josuke is unused to bizarre adventures. Meanwhile, Ignis is just kind of casually leaning on the doorjamb, watching this melee and wiping his hands on a rag like he's just finished washing them.]
Aurorean! Leave him be, go on.
[Abashed, the waiting chocobo turns a look toward Ignis, and then shuffles backward a few steps almost gultily.]
And you must be Josuke?
[He's probably going to pronounce that wrong at first, sorry Josuke.]

May I ask how old you are, Josuke?
no subject
Um. Sixteen? Why does that matter?

That's really kind of you, Mr. Ignis. [ and he's somehow not used to this. most people in JJBA are weird, abnormal assholes. ]
But I couldn't take your food for free. My pride won't allow me to mooch off someone so nice. I'll do you a favour in return, how about that?

Very well. Are you possessing of any particular skills I should be aware of?

Although.
Does it put things together with perfect accuracy? To the moment they were in perfect and prime condition, perhaps?

I've also fixed things like furniture or motorcycles.

[WHY WOULD...YOU...EVEN...]
Well. Hmmm.
I don't suppose you could find a destroyed piano or violin around somewhere and return it to a perfect state of repair? Properly tuned and all?

There is a lot of old crap around so I'm sure I can find something like that with enough digging. Restoring it will be easy. You want to play?

First, though, what kinda food are you gonna cook? With what's available, that is. I wanna know what I can look forward to.
