Yeah, I've been going around and helping out where I can. It's not like it takes a lot outta me to fix up, say, a wall or shelf. That's why I'd be more than happy to put something back together if you need it.
Well. As there are more than a few varieties of fish here that have proven largely edible, I was thinking I'd try a fish chowder. Corn, potatoes, onions, and so on.

I had the good fortune to be carrying some assorted vegetables when we arrived here, so we ended up planting them in the hopes of cultivating more, and the experiment was quite the success.
Hold on, you're responsible for that too? That was a really good idea by the both of you! If I knew I was gonna be stuck here, I would've hit up the supermarket to stock up first.

We are a veritable fount of good ideas. Really, it's a lucky thing I had what I did with me; it made all the difference, early on.
I reside in Bluo, the canal district. When you come through, look for the house with the two exceptionally large bipedal feathered creatures grazing in front of it; that'll be where I am.
[ And Ignis will hear a small scene happening outside his house, as Josuke tries to stop the chocobos (????) from getting too close to his hair. He's afraid of being pecked here! ]
Hey! Watch the hair -- What even are you guys, overgrown chickens?
[ In his hand is a violin, and it looks to be in good shape. ]
Something like that. Coincidentally, we also have chickens on the premises, or so I'm told.
[This is truly the most bizarre house but hey, it's not like Josuke is unused to bizarre adventures. Meanwhile, Ignis is just kind of casually leaning on the doorjamb, watching this melee and wiping his hands on a rag like he's just finished washing them.]

[Abashed, the waiting chocobo turns a look toward Ignis, and then shuffles backward a few steps almost gultily.]

[He's probably going to pronounce that wrong at first, sorry Josuke.]
You have chickens? [ Chickens just, wandering around. This really is a bizarre house. In any case, he's glad his perfect hair is no longer in finger of being pecked out of place. This hairdo is more important than his life, probably. ]
Yeah, that's me. And you must be Mr. Ignis. [ Violin tucked under his arm (please, Josuke, treat a muscial instrument with respect), Josuke starts to comb his hair back into place. It's almost a reflex action after it gets even mildly ruffled up. ]
